A discreet lookout
If something happens, your family knows.
Vigla detects a possible fall using the sensors of an Android phone, leaves time to say “I'm fine” and, if there is no answer, alerts family with the location.
I detected a fall.
Are you OK?
Good.
Nobody was alerted. Vigla keeps watch.
Alerting your family.
Stay where you are, if you can.
Vigla is not a medical device and does not replace 112. It does not diagnose, cannot guarantee that every fall is detected and never calls emergency numbers automatically. In an emergency call 112 or your local emergency number.
Silent until needed. Then, clear.
Three moments, always in the same order. The last word belongs to whoever carries the phone.

The phone's sensors recognise a movement consistent with a fall. No wristbands, nothing extra to charge.

Asks
The phone rings, vibrates and speaks: “Are you OK?”. A big I'm fine button cancels everything with one tap.

Several people from the same app, with status, battery and event history at a glance.

A lookout watches. It doesn't spy.
What Vigla chooses not to do matters as much as what it does.
Supported phones
Fall monitoring works on Android only. Family members can use Android or iPhone.
Frequently asked questions
Is Vigla a medical device?
No. Vigla is not a medical device, does not diagnose and does not replace 112. It helps alert the family faster.
Does it call 112?
No, never automatically. Vigla alerts the people you chose; if nobody takes charge of the alarm, it suggests they consider calling 112.
Does it work on iPhone?
Family members can use Android or iPhone. Fall monitoring, on the other hand, works on Android phones only.
What if I fall but I'm fine?
The phone rings for 30 seconds and shows a big “I'm fine” button. One tap and nobody is alerted. Even if you press it later, family members get “False alarm: they're fine”.
Do you record audio or location all the time?
No. Vigla does not record ambient audio. Location is read only when there is an event, never continuously.
What if the phone runs out of battery?
If the phone goes silent for about 15 minutes or the battery drops below 15%, the family member gets a “monitoring not active” alert by notification and email.
When will it be available and how much will it cost?
Vigla is coming soon to Google Play and the App Store. Pricing has not been defined yet.
